Tracey…I also came across the site by accident. I am older than the women here on the discussion page: late 40′s. Most of my life, I have had sugar daddies. Anytime I opted for the regular relationship route, I lived to regret it. About all of what you mentioned had happened: being taken for granted, lies, cheating (I do not mind a man seeing another woman but keep it discreet and do not embarrass me), men expecting me to pay their way, and so forth.

I get the same flack from friends when it is known I have a sugar daddy. I am told of how I need to work my butt off for money. Believe me, I have more than done that and working my tail off for so little pay on a job is another form of prostitution. Most women are going to be put out of the boardroom and bedroom (if married) by middle age so getting what a woman can get is good financial sense.

Even at my age, I still have a sugar daddy. He is older than what the young ladies here would have for their Daddies. Again, it is a better life. Having a Daddy in his late 60′s is far better than trying to fool myself that I am this Cougar, who usually ends up paying for the young guy and then insecure about him wanting young girls instead of an old broad. I see a friend who is in my age bracket going through relationship insecurities yet STILL wanting to marry her out-of-work boyfriend who cannot keep off the sauce (booze). Why? He is “hot” in her mind. Shaking my head.
